We specialise in small weddings for up to 50 guests and civil ceremonies, like church ceremonies, require a beautiful, romantic setting to ahere with the significance of the day. Belchamp Hall, set on a private family estate and being close to London, is one of the most stunning contemporary places to get married in East Anglia.
If you have your heart set on an outdoor ceremony, the Victorian summer house is fully licensed for civil ceremonies. With a formal marble floor and windows made of early coloured glass depicting pastoral scenes & flora; it really is a unique and beautiful setting to tie the knot.
The Drawing Room is bright, full of authentic charm and is one of two rooms in Belchamp Hall which are licensed for civil ceremonies. The stunning portraits in the room and exquisite furnishings make for a romantic and special environment to tie the knot.
The Panelled Room is also licensed to hold a ceremony in Belchamp Hall. Prepare to be taken aback by the gorgeous oak panelling throughout the room, which is said to date back to the Elizabethan or Jacobean era.
It is the responsibility of the couple to ensure all religious and legal requirements are covered (please note the Braintree Registrar will also be required to attend the service, for weddings only). We do recommend contacting the registrar at the earliest opportunity to help to ensure that they are available for your date. Braintree Registrar Office t: 0345 603 7632
